I did a bunch of research before getting my favorite pair, the ATH-M50x and I am very pleased with them.

Those headphones seem like they're gonna break as soon as I unbox them.

Yeah don't get those. They are horrid. I used to own those around 6 years ago and the plastic holding the headset together broke in about a month or two.
