Don't get smart with me. Those are all sub categories, specificities of physics. I can apply newtons laws to a space ship the same as I would a sky-scrapper. All engineers do is use the laws of physics in a really narrow perspective. If I wanted to learn aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, etc. I would already have the prerequisites to do whatever I want and the background in differential and integral calculus to learn them fairly easily enough. engineers are far too specified in their particular field. My goal in life is to become an inventor of sorts, a jack of all trades. But don't pull up some shit on wikipedia and be like "look here! Here's all these different categories of engineering" Well engineering is the application of physics and math. And by learning those I can then do my own research into whatever subcategory of engineering I need at a specific time, but not be tied down to one.
