Man I read through the Dec of Human Rights, yesterday for revision. Keep in mind this was written in 1948.

Have they ever been followed?

Fuck, no.

Now tell me what the point is of a non-legally binding international document; like any nation's going to follow it.

The UN is so fucking stupid, the opt-in, opt-out system.

IMO, if you join you stay there and you abide by the fucking laws or you're dealt with by the International Criminal Court.

That way, the Iraq war, and several other cases would've never happened.
