Assuming highschool in America is Australian college; I took Law, Psychology, English, Math, IT.

There's no Honor's or whatever, there's just tertiary (planning to go to uni), and accredited (not planning on going to uni). I took tertiary.

History is great but hard to find a job in the field, unless he wants to become a teacher
Biology is pretty good if you're willing to go to uni and become an expert at it
English will definitely come in handy if his English isn't good yet, will open up more career paths in the world

Guys stop being so hard on the guy, Grade 9 was the easiest year so i would just take the more harder classes to get credits so you could take more easier ones down the road. Work hard, Achieve Success.
