Did you know you can get your skype unbanned?

So last saturday my skype account was banned and I knew it was banned because I submitted a recovery form as when you get banned the client doesn't tell you you're banned just says wrong password/check your details. Anyways I saw these kids complaining about "oh no my main important skype account rip cant get it back!" and I didn't believe it so I tried it for myself. In the beginning, I didn't think it was going to work because I saw so many people complaining, but after 3 cases I got it unbanned.

The first case was just a representative replying to my recovery form saying that I was banned from breaching the ToS and said I could not be unbanned. Second one was where I sent screenshots by email of third party skype banning services existing even though I had a autistic rep that didn't understand english it was a very important part as different representatives can access the case and case emails that had the screenshots. Finally, the third case was bullshit just someone saying that they were investigating and there was no response.

After I got done with all the cases today I decided to get on live chat support but instead of explaining the situation again I asked for the representatives supervisor. The supervisor was the first person who seemed to actually give a fuck and didn't do the whole c+p "contact us by email" and spent a whole hour and 10-20 minutes on my case. I explained my situation and this is where the second case with all the screenshots came in as she saw that and that really helped my situation. She forwarded it to a specialist and then told me I should try logging in and I was unbanned (Shoutout to kristian for helping a nigga out). She also said that she was going to bring up this whole issue in her next supervisor meeting so maybe rip skype banning services.



TLDR: You can get your skype account unbanned, it is possible.

Well, no shit they can get unbanned. Obviously, contacting Skype support and explaining the situation will get you unbanned. Not like they'll just keep you banned just because some imposter made a report.

Yes, but I saw so many threads of people complaining about their skype being banned and it was their main skype, cant do anything etc. Just wanted to make sure people knew you can get it unbanned.

Also, it's a little bit more complicated then just telling them like I said I had to go through 3 cases and 4 reps over 5 days.
