cod breaks, get's fixed, now alll mods are broken

hey everyone


after using the EAM and Custom class creator alongside the (moolite or moo something i think it's called) texture hack, the one which only applies body textures on the first round, my game stopped working when i went to start it once, it said "Couldn't load fileSysCheck.cfg. Make sure Modern Warfare 2 is run from the correct folder." in the mw2 console.

so i was like WTF.

i went through steam, looking for ways to fix it, then i found an option that said " view integrity of game cache" under mw2>properties in the steam>games section.

so naturally, dying from not being able to play mw2, i clicked it.

an hour later after scanning it said that 9 files were unverified and steam was downloading a patch or fix or something.

when it was done, to my relief, mw2 started fine.

however. the texture hack wasn't working at all. neither were my custom classes.

i had an rpg instead of special grenade and hardline pro instead of eqiupment. it even listed it in the mw2 classes section. in game though, nothing worked at all except only the legitimate ones, i.e. the primary and secondary weapons (acr, m9) and three main perks and deathstreak.

so basically, the hacks are all loading up fine, excpet they just don't work. for no reason it seems.

and there's one other thing.

when i use EAM to export playerstats.txt then edit it using the custom class editor, when i go to import it, it acts normal and says import succesful.

when i go into the game, nothing's changed. i tried changing the deathstreak to a throwing knife, which before the screwup would work, but now does nothing. doesn't even change in the menu.

soo. the reason for all this is how the hell do i fix it without reinstalling mw2? and has anyone experienced this? because as far as i'm concerned, there's no reason whatsoever why any of them wouldn't be working. the texture patcher even patches everything fine :S.
