Edit: However, the thing is that you don't get to decide how the outcome you wanted is achieved unless you choose the specific outcome of each step or whatever. Idk a bit hard to explain that part.

For example, say you wanted to be a millionaire. That's the outcome. However, let's say the way it plays out is that your parents both had massive life insurance things and they both suddenly died giving you all of their assets and life insurance money. Congratz, you're rich now, but is that how you wanted it to play out?
