Suggestion for bumping method

I don't know if someone actually have ever suggested this or no.

Instead of posting to bump the thread, is it cool if we have something like "bump" button on our thread? of course there will be limit each day of it or maybe can be categorized per category.

Basic member : 1 bump a day

Premium member : 3 bumps a day

Premium seller : 5 bumps a day

Not because I'm a premium seller, just a suggestion tho, this will make the thread look more clear to me and people is easier to find vouch etc.

Then basic members will have no chance of showing their threads in a certain trading section if another premium user and premium seller bumped their threads the way you're suggesting.
and that's too much of a perk to be honest.

Ameer has a point. To be fair, being a premium member, or premium seller allows you to access the Elite Selling / Trading / Buying section. This grants you a bigger bonus than those who do not meet the requirements.

In addition, when you are a premium seller, your thread is already highlighted which stands out from normal usergroups.

It's just the same thing as posting "Bump" to be honest. That's just my opinion.

If you mean by increasing the bumping limit per day, then that would be a different story.
It would increase Marketplace activity, however, would be annoying for the staff to check the time interval/amount of bumps there are a day.
If you are talking about having some kind of "bump" button, then there would need to be a plugin that can be implemented/some sort of coding to do that.

It would be a bit of a hassle, however, the positive side to that is having users become more active on the site.

I support the idea, I think it's better than seeing pages of different variations of the word 'bump'. All users should be limited to one per day, though. It's not different now, so I don't see any reason why it should be if one was implemented.

Users are limited to one bump per day. If they want their threads to stand out more, Premium Seller was created just for that.
