    Cooking with Intel?

Thank you for clicking that retarded title but I desperately need some opinions on my PC.
I am not planning on buying it, I purchased dat shit like ~8months ago.

Recently Iīve been playing around with MSI Afterburner and other stuff that basically shows me my temperature.
And jesus christ I think I could cook with my processor.
Donīt get me wrong I think I have a decent rig but idk if the temperatures should be that high.

For refernce here my whole rig :
    -Asus ROG Maximus VII Ranger
    -i7 4790k @4.00 GHz
    -Dark rock pro 3
    -Palit SuperJetstream GTX980
    -PURE POWER L7 | 630W
    -16GB 1886MHz DDR3 (I believe corsair, too lazy to check >.<)
    -Hard Drives
->1)Samsung 840EVO 120 GB (OS only and most important programs)
->2)Samsung 850EVO 1TB (Games and all the viruses I get from mpgh )
-Some cd reader/writer from LG, nothing too crazy :īD
-2 extra BL047 be quiet! Pure Wings 2 140mm fans
    -case: corsair carbide series 200r

I donīt manually change the fan speeds of any fans besides the GPU fans atm. For that I use MSI Afterburner.
    Some numbers to that:
Fan Speed% // Termperatures GPU // Termperatures CPU
    25% (lowest option) // ~75-80° // ~50°
    60% // ~60°-65° // ~45°-50°
    100% // ~60° // ī~50°

Just now I opened my Pc again to actually check the temperatures myself since I know these temperatures might not be accurate.
And to be honest my GPU does not feel like 60° at all. The only warm part in my whole rig was the Power supply.

That made me think, is 630W enough for my setup? Iīm not overclocking anything besides playing with the fans a little
Any answer is welcome, please leave your thoughts below!
    Thanks for reading stranger

I may be stupid, but first I thought it was a temperature problem, now you're asking about wattage?
If it's wattage you should be good. Just don't sli or go any higher. You've got enough for what you have, just running with what I can remember off the top of my head.
But what exactly are you asking? You talked about Intel, then your graphics card, I can't really try to approach any suggestions because I'm afraid I'd be too broad, like
"Have you tried turning it off and on again? "

Yea excuse me I didnīt get to the point, was probably too late to write such a long post.
My question would be, "Are these temperatures considered normal regarding my rig and especially my power supply?"

Power supply really shouldn't be changing the temperatures of the other components, unless it really is getting warm and you have the fan pushing hot air in somehow.
80c is the recommended default max temperature for the 980 before it starts to throttle.
Also o wouldn't suggest you touch the internal components while the computer is on. And even touching them might not give you an accurate read, as the actual source of the heat its probably more hidden under coiling elements.
    Processor temps should be good.

Thank you for your words, sir!
I touched them shortly after I turned it off when all electricity was off. Wasnīt really touching them just putting my hand next to them to feel the heat

these are overload or idle temps ?

it's been like this the whole time or just recently?

for now, try booting into bios and do factory default settings

if the temps you posted are like that when stressing the CPU and GPU, they are just fine and safe

Lol, GPU and CPU temps reads in celsius, You would be able to feel 60 celsuis and you most likely would not be able to keep your hand on your card long enough as 60c is 140f. Also saying you felt it and it doesn't "feel" like its 60c is just stupid lol, If the program is reading that tempature, chances are it's more accurate than your predictions lol.

If those are your temps under load, you're fine.

Does your CPU idle at 50c+? it should idle around 30c. Mine does atleast :P

Cooler looks beefy and just the looks, looks like it should be having you lower than 50c, even when gaming.

He says in the post above you that's when they're under load. It makes it more reasonable. Yea it's kind of high but it's not like it's a major problem. It's 100C max temp, and usually 63C under sustained load (on average) so it makes sense for 50 under gaming load.

I don't understand the problem you're having. 50C on high sustained load with a beefy cooler is normal. 60% fan speed and getting 60-65C is also normal. So I don't really understand where you're coming from.
