Lol not true dynasty. Basically as long as the virus scans say "safe" it's ok for the staff. Most of them don't download and check it. That's why they always say

"Post back results" They let other people be the guinea pig, however that being said not all do this, some staff check the file out personally. (and those are the ones that get hacked lol)

Staff the check files use sandbox or similar programs which allow you to open programs with no risk. This is done in order to be able to check if the downloaded program is safe or not. Staff members are more then trained for thia kinds of things.

I backup my whole hard drive onto an external hard drive every week just in case I do get infected.
