Freshman with a procrastination problem

Yo, I'm going into high school as a freshman, got accepted into a Gifted and Talented academy.

I'm just worried. I have a big problem with procrastinating with homework, and that'll be a big problem at a school with such high standards.

Do you guys have any tips for a procrastinator going into high school?
I'd also appreciate some tips for high school, although not necessary, because there's another thread on that lol

High school is really easy, just do your work. Homework isn't even that hard to do, it's the tests that will challenge you.

It is for me, I always seem to get carried away. Even while studying on exams. Last day I said okay, study from 2 - 6 and you're done. I went all the way till 6 without studying then up for until 11. ;-;

Yeah, I do. But homework shouldn't be hard as long as you pay attention in class. If you can't even do that, I don't know what to tell you.

I definitely do pay attention in class. Took notes all the time in Eighth Grade Honors Geometry.

The problem is that it's hard for me to do homework, even if that's my set goal. It's so hard, and I don't even know why. @Thaz

Perhaps it's the teacher who is assigning exceptionally difficult work. I'd like to see one of these assignments if you still have them

Well this was in eighth grade, and it was a year long period. Had trouble doing homework since the first day. :/
Basically anything that deals with the distance formula, formulas for circles, finding areas and perimeters in graphs and lengths, SOHCAHTOA, that crap

Yeah, I can see how that could be hard to an 8th grader. The best advice that I could give is to practice the formulas. All of the concepts you mentioned basically deal with a formula to solve. And never be afraid to ask your teacher. One of the best experiences I had in high school was with my teachers.

Yeah this will help you.. It's simple. Just always think 24/7 *get homework done and then I can play any games and do anything I want*


Just always remind yourself that you can do anything you want once your done with this shit.

High school is honestly no problem. I have have some learning disabilities, and procrastination problems. No need to be worried.

No one can help you with that. Only you can help yourself. Regardless of what we say, at the end of the day you make the call.

If you want to stop procrastinating, just fucking do it. The answer is right there in front of you.

High school is a JOKE. I took all AP's and honor classes, you'll find a way to do it easy and efficiently. Everyone is unique. But yeah, high school work ez.
