How to combat email spam? I keep losing important email because of all the shit that hits my email box. Changing my email is not an option.

I think unsubscribe is a fake link that creates even more spam and I keep blocking them but they keep on coming

I keep marking it as SPAM in my outlook and it keeps on coming like a plague from slightly different addresses. Drives me insane.

sounds like you pissed off someone, use a different email. outlook is shit at detecting what is spam and what is not

There is no support to call unfortunately. Most of them are from Forex trading sites and they are like parasites - give you unsubscribe links or report SPAM links but all fake

Not familiar with Yahoo but I'm guessing it's similar.

You can try to create a filter which deletes/archives/whatever the unwanted email if the emails share for example a common subject, email or body.

Also, since you're using Yahoo I think they have an alias providor, meaning you can create "fake" emails that redirect to your main, good to know for future reference.

Some email systems allow you to create rules if there are common wording in these spam emails or a common address or company number or telephone number at the bottom of the email you could create rules to move emails that contain certain words or sentences to your Spam Folder.

If the filters are working, to be honest you're fucked. Outlook is shit. Switch to a new provider. Make it an option lol. Or you can make a new folder that forwards all important emails into it. And just leave inbox to be spammed.
