First, back story.
6th grade - perfect score on math state test
7th grade - school offers algebra I as a accelerated track
summer - take 3 week algebra 2 class, 96 on final, 93 and above on all tests
8th grade - new school, informs me they cannot give me algebra 2 credit. I am still on my track, taking geometry. I compete in mu alpha theta, placing in almost every tournament (i went to every one offered, not counting nationals). Placed first in state. School's algebra 2 teacher meets the teacher whom taught me algebra 2. I get my gifted paperwork transferred to my school (I moved parishes). School's algebra 2 teacher knows I have potential to skip algebra 2. Gifted laws in state give me due process and should accommodate for my learning needs. Mom angry, emailing the school board, doesn't see the point in gifted program if they keep me from my potential. School board constantly says no, with no explanation. Clearly breaking the law which the gifted program puts in place.
Hell, I shouldn't even be placed in pre-calculus. I could be learning calculus right now. Math has been such an easy subject for me since first grade. I don't see why I can't test out of the class. The sophomore class last year didn't even get to cover all of the subject, yet they can move on to pre-calc. My course went farther in-depth, in a shorter amount of time, and I excelled in it.
I just want to chill and play games but none of my friends are online and this is all I can think about.
