    Laptop suggestions for college?

I'm guessing you guys probably know more than I do so I'm asking for suggestions.

Budget: Around $1000. Little bit above or below.

Edit: Looking to do school work for the most part (psych major) though I'll probably do some gaming on it since I can't bring home my PC every time college is out (so I guess anything that can run league at max settings). And if the laptop looks cool and has a light up keyboard like razer ones, that would be nice though that's just extra.

I personally am thinking to get a XPS15. But since I don't know your budget, I can't help you all that much.

Made like 4k this summer but don't want to spend it all. So I was thinking of spending maybe around 1k or less. I don't really care about the price as long as the laptop is worth the price and I can do everything on it.

If it's for school, I suggest the Acer Aspire V15. As long as you're not using it for gaming, its pretty good for everything else.

Yeah probably won't be doing much gaming since I'll be bringing my PC to keep in my dorm room. Looked up the laptop though and couldn't find V15. Said Acer Aspire V15 Nitro...which is a gaming laptop lol.

Yeah. You can't go wrong with the GL552VW series by ASUS either. Even allows you to upgrade RAM, 2.5" Drive and a M.2 Slot

Not sure what do expect from college. But probably not programming nor designing since I'm a psychology major. Guessing for the most part I'll just be doing typing.

Oh god brain fart. Not sure whether or not I'll be gaming. Think if I game, it'll probably be on my desktop. So when it comes to Chromebooks do you guys have any specific recommendations?

My school had some older version of the chromebooks and they worked smoothly. So tbh, any of the newer versions should be plenty
