Yes, I think it gives you something. I don't like using others images, that's why one of my Designers made this image title for me. (The one that I have right now)

You can request it at Profile Edits & Request section. Be sure to read all the stickies before making your request.
Provide the link of the image too.

It changes anything. If you have it, it simply mean you are against scammers but at the end of the day anyone can all the sudden start scamming.
You must always be careful, trust people with decent amount of vouches and no one else.
