"[Cheat Detected]" for a rank hack?

i have the same rly the same problem like u can u give a feedback if the reinstall works cause it rly sucks to get in game for 10 - 30 secs and then you get the massage cheat detected

I have that too, well I didn't really play Online games to begin with, only Private Matches, which I still can :P

happened the same thing yesterday.
Go to steam settings and check your VAC Status.if it says banned from VAC Secure servers,then you're probably banned.Click on more details and see what games are infected.if its MW2 then you're probably banned.
i got another copy today though

I got banned with the same problem, i hated to restart over and formating my pc,,, to get another copy is not a problem, is just restart ur lvl is a headache.. damn... i send an email asking steam i willing to pay 100 buck to get my account back, or even pay 500 buck for letting use hack,, lol, now im out of my mind

Hey, I know theres a stickie saying "Dont post about bans", but im posting this because its weird. im allowed to enter a game, then it kicks me out. And I was using a rank hack, thats it.

Basically, I just logged into steam now, logged into MW2 and started a game online, it worked, and I played for about 20 seconds, until I was kicked off the server and was told "[Cheat Detected]".

But I can keep joining games, but after 10-20 seconds I get kicked out of it.?

Have I been banned for using a Rank hack?

And the main reason why I am posting, is for this question - If i reset my rank, Like back to 1. Would I still get kicked off the server after 20 seconds still? Or would it fix it because my rank isn't fucked? (And no I didnt go to prestige 10, I went to prestige 3, and i did change the "Time played" to accomodate it.

(The question above is information, and a legitimate question about this. I know the stickie says "Stop posting about you being "banned", nobody can help you and its your own fault.", i know its my own fault, but whether or not i can fix it by resetting my rank is another matter - that is helping. So therefore my post is valid). All you need to do, is reply with a simple answer.

I use to get the same problem.
My fix was easy.
The problem is caused from you being a level 70 and your "xp required" is not set to 0. Setting this to 0 should get rid of that message. It is a quick fix for rank hackers but it does nothing if you know what your doing.
Your not vac banned because if you where you would not even get to the point of loading up a game.

EDIT: if you cant set "xp required" to 0 then just prestige.
This kind of stuff always happens when you join a moded xp server to.

yes, yes you will.


VAC'd players can join a game, play 2 mins then get kicked with the note 'Cheat detected'

If your not VAC'd it will say 'steam connect failed' that means you've got an issue with your firewall/antivirus - I'd suggest disabling it (unless your using a ch00b hack with adware trojans.. xD)

i dun think it will works,, cuz my Vac Status is Banned from some secure servers because of a cheating infraction.
