How to play MW2 with Zero Gear demo on 182 patch

I'm not going to start hacking based on a back-up bypass that probably doesn't work, based on the comments.

Have you guys tried his suggestion?

Fix for Steam Connect Failed: Close Steam. Delete the clientregistry.blob file from the Steam folder, then restart Steam.
If that doesn't work, try moving the steamapps folder from the Steam folder to your Desktop, then completely reinstall Steam. After Steam is reinstalled, close it out then move the steamapps folder back to the main Steam folder, then open Steam back up.

Zero Gear Demo is the only one so far that you can run using a BAT file through Steam.

And for everyone else, I'll try to find a fix for the "Steam Connect Failed" problem. I'll post it here if I find anything.

Kick Fix:
Try adding a space to your nickname (Steam>>File>>Settings>>Friends).
For example: My name in game is SoapOnARope. I used Soap On A Roap as my name, and it fixed the kicking. Everyone try it. NOW! lol

changed my name to " Is Aimbot"-> joined a server and game ended about 2 min after i joined (so i completed a game) waited for next match to start, then after about 3 mins->steam disconnect. I am now doing some private server test to see if it still would kick me or not. So far looks ok under private server (about 10 min in)
