Their support helped me recover items i had stolen from my account. They're not shit, they just get alot of traffic/tickets so it can easily take up to 2 weeks for a response for this current situation.

i used to have a old account, left it alone for awhile have no idea when it got unlocked, but it eventually did without me contacting them

My other account got hacked, the hacker removed the game from it (still double WTF about it), just because you didn't have a successful encounter with Valve's / Steam support system doesn't mean they suck... You're expecting too much when your shit doesn't pull through. I had to send only 2 ticket supports, prove them I was owner of the account even if the recent email changes on the account.
