[Question] Any overlay hack that'll show smoke and flash spots?

Hi guys

So there's some custom maps for Dust 2 that show all the smoke spots.

IMO using them in a real game would be really good, but I can't be bothered to remember all of them.

Does anyone know of a way to get the spots from crashz's dust 2 smoke practice map onto a real game? The map also has a toggle.

I feel like it'll be really useful in game, because fuck remembering all the spots.

I've been playing CS for 3 months now and I still don't remember the smoke spots lol.

I don't think you can get the Dust 2 custom map to load for a competitive map but it is possible.

I think just replacing the file in the maps folder with the custom map file from the workshop folder should do the trick. Possible it can be detected by game and might force you to disconnect until you get official files though

I just tried that, but all I get when trying to connect to a game is: "Your map [de_dust2.bsp] differs from the server's."

I don't think it can be done... If it can be it would be hella hard to do and probably would just be easier to learn the smoke spots.

Visuals of the map are gonna bother you, just learn the spots, If you want to improve you will need to know them anyway.
