In my school, as old and filled with nuns as it is, they always forced you to take off your watch/festival bands or whatever you had on.

In my school, you're not allowed to bring in anything that could let you cheat. You have to put your phone in a bucket or something, all watches off, and you're not even allowed to bring in a pencil case.

If you're talking grade school then I guess, but if you're talking university you might as well just stop. If I get caught cheating on a test in any of classes I'm immediately kicked out of school and charged for the rest of the semester/classes. Not worth it what-so-ever.
If I don't know the answer to something I just guess or don't answer and move the fuck on lol. Just study.

I am not talking about university, of course I am not stupid enough to do that on something I am paying so much money for. I was just thinking WHAT IF I used this is High School. Spanish would have been so much easier.

Wouldn't really call them dumb teachers. If they were dumb, then they wouldn't really be teaching you a certain course.
If they are really out of date with technology then maybe you can fool them.
However, if you constantly look at your watch, then there's obviously something wrong.

At the university level, I have a course that completely banned all electronic devices during lectures, so you can imagine what's up for examinations.
In addition, many professors/teaching assistants are at a young age of which a lot of them are up to date with technology itself.
I guess it would probably depend on what course you take, what level of study you are taking, or the age factor of the professor/teaching assistants, or teachers.
One of the stereotypes is that older teachers are out of date with technology.
I know some other universities make you put all your electronics on a plastic clear bag where it is visible on the table. You are not allowed to touch that.
There are also security members that check to see if you are utilizing any cheating devices, but that is just another university I know.

Yeah, I personally don't know about university but I will find out next year. HOWEVER currently in community college I am going to, security is lack luster.
