Sony announces 2 new variations of the PS4
While the Apple event was going on, Sony announced 2 new PS4 variants, the PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim.
The PS4 Pro will be able to play games at 4K (upscaled) and the slim is a better version of the original PS4 with better cooling capabilities and smaller case.

In my opinion, I think that the PS4 Pro is useless, especially since the 4K is upscaled meaning it won't look nowhere near as good as what 4K does on a PC. The slim is an alright decision as apparently there was overheating issues with the original model.

I actually think the PS4 4k option was a good idea for people who use them for videos and etc...
As well as people who would like a 4k option and only have a next gen console and no desktop
