    Printing on clothes

Hi, I'm just wondering if someone here has some knowledge with printing on clothes.
Because I'd like to get into that and I'm trying to find the necessary materials and tools to use and find out what is the most durable etc.

Google is being a bitch right now, so.
    Yes, share some knowledge!

    I do.
I had my own clothing company for a while and the most effective way to print on clothing would be screen printing.
If you're planning on screen printing, you're not going to do it yourself you're going to have to find a screen printing company or screen printing group. Most screen printers don't have giant businesses but they either set up shop in a warehouse or in their garage.
What exactly are you trying to print/print on?

I've done print screens in school before so I sort of know how to work that, I just don't remember what tools I'd need for it. But I do remember some UV lights being set up.
Is print screen durable? I'm thinking, I don't want this to wash off in a few washes neither.

I'm trying to print on shirts, t-shirts, tanks, maybe jeans too.
    So, fabrics in general.

To set up your own screenprinting area it would take a lot of time and money.. It would make a lot more sense to just have it done.

If you're only planning on doing it for yourself then screenprinting would be a waste of time. I don't know another effective method of home cloth printing that would actually be worth the money.
Good luck, you've read my knowledge.

If he's trying to start a business then screen printing would work quite well, but if he's just trying to make his own clothes then he's going to waste a shit ton of money doing screen printing.
I don't know another printing method for clothing that works as well as screen printing does.

Silk screen works pretty well and as I'm going to progress to creating my own brand of clothing as soon as I get my hands on a sowing machine etc, I won't be making anything in bulk or mass, the whole point in this is to have more unique clothing.
So realistically, I'd be making maybe three shirts per print.
S, M, L. Then take on custom orders.

Okay so more or less like prototypes? If you have the funds I would go with screen printing. Apparently there's some other method of printing that RedBubble uses that @Anime was telling me about, you could ask him about that one if he has any information on it cause I do not. I hope it all works for you. I had a clothing line for a while and then I just let it drop off. I'm currently on the design team for another company now though and for tees we use screen printing.
