Okay, first thing i would do. This will almost always make you better faster. Make a complete drawing, nothing sketchy about it, get rid of all the extra lines and make them as clean as possible and then show me it. It will look much better and I can help you better that way. Unless of course you want to do it that way then you cant really improve on a sketchy style on a pc, because it will always just look "ok"

I prefer the look of sketchy style cuz idk I feel it looks better than with fixed lines, but I am confused on how the shading works.

Well mostly with a sketchy style you do more basic drawing EG: rough line arting or a less detailed drawing because thats just what fits it.

There isn't a whole lot of dark/deep shading with a style like that. But if you were to do it you would do a pure black and just dip it all and in the edges you would have a scratchy look to it.

Well with a cleaner drawing it just looks a lot more professional and you can do a lot more with the drawing in terms of shading/ colouring so yeah. But I always start my drawing with a sketch and either erase and go over or use a new peice of paper.

Well it really depends, What kind of drawing tablet / drawing equipment are you using and what program are you drawing with first.

You need a drawing tablet to do anything nice on pc.

I recomend a wacom tab.
