    Question BC2 Capable Resolutions?

    Hey guys,

I need a complete list of supported (in-game settings) resolutions for BFBC2.

    I've got these already:

    1280 x 720 60Hz
    1280 x 768 60Hz
    1280 x 800 60Hz
    1280 x 960 60Hz
    1280 x 1024 60Hz
    1280 x 1024 75Hz
    1360 x 768 60Hz
    1600 x 900 60Hz
    1600 x 1024 60Hz
    1680 x 1050 60Hz

    -any in between?-

    1920 x 1080 60Hz < Correct Hz?
    1920 x 1200 60Hz < Correct Hz?

    -any above?-

Anyone with a 1080 HD card fill in the gaps between 1680 and 1920 including the Hz values.

Anyone that can run 2560 × 1920(?) or at least display them in the list in the in-game settings. Please post.

Posting or a picture/printscreen of the higher resolutions will be good.

    Thanks!

....Idk but ill find you...or try
is bad company one of those you have to buy? lol im gonna try and find the files and a fake key for free.....no more buying for me. I know someone who bought the Battlefield 2 booster packs and now their free and I expect the game to be free soon (battlefield 2).

Basically....i think any resolution would work for BFBC2 .....Ive been gaming for a long time now and i still think the newer Toshiba Satellite models like A305 laptops are the best for gaming.....Ive never owned a desktop =p With OS's I personally think Vista is screwed sometimes with games such as Upshift Strikeracers, where theres alot of errors (this is where XP comes in handy), otherwise Vista is cool with me

    The list :

    Code:
    1024 x 786 60Hz
    1024 x 786 70Hz
    1024 x 786 75Hz
    1152 x 864 75Hz
    1280 x 720 59Hz
    1280 x 720 60Hz
    1280 x 768 60Hz
    1280 x 800 60Hz
    1280 x 960 60Hz
    1280 x 1024 60Hz
    1280 x 1024 75Hz
    1360 x 768 59Hz
    1440 x 900 59Hz
    1600 x 900 59Hz
    1600 x 1024 59Hz
    1600 x 1200 60Hz
    1680 x 1050 59Hz
    1768 x 992 60hz
    1920 x 1080 59 Hz
    1920 x 1080 60 Hz (My Current Resolution)
Then again, this is the Beta, and my 22 Inch Full HD Monitor can only get up to 1920x1080 60 Hz. It will probably be more at a bigger screen, but I don't have that.

You can use the resolution you want by editing the settings.ini in My Documents, it's also the only way to get a good FOV
The game is launchable (and playable I guess) in 2560 × 1920 if your screen is big enough. Mine is in 1680x1050, I tried the 2560 in window mode, it does a weird thing : the game ran a this resolution but the window is strechted to my screen and the mouse pointer is completely shifted (I need to click in the middle of the screen to go into the Multiplayer menu). Can't do a screenshot, I use fraps and it cut down the screenshot to 1920x1200 and I only have a piece of the original view.

It runs on most resolutions that you can put into the settings.ini file. Also, say 'no' to Vista and 'yes' to Win7 Could be still bettered but it's definitely their best OS to date. Never considered laptop gaming. If laptops were as good as desktops, easier to upgrade and so fourth I'd rather one of those too. Though with nanotech(<3) we'll be making insane laptops with a billion times more processing power to today's CPUs with no by products except heat and Co2. (Sounds maybe far fetched but that's what I learned from a small presentation video I watched)

Thanks for the screenshot (I wasn't clear enough) I need a picture of the resolutions list open though

I've got the same native resolution of 1680 x 1050 on my screen too I know it can run games in bigger res' in windowed but its won't give me a idea of the default supported ones that come with the game.

..Wish there was a dedicated FOV command.. I guess console gamers would get jealous (if they even know what a FOV is! ) with out highly customised games..

Reason I want the list is because I'm trying to make a configurator like Liseda's v1.0 (just as a learning experience and it would be nice to have). If you don't know what Liseda's does; it just lets you choose your in-game settings without launching the game (basically adds an interface to the settings.ini file allowing for quick changes.)

    Thanks again

I think the game just pick the resolutions given by the OS (koeninatorrr's list tend to this way with a non-standard 1768 x 992). Quick experiment : create some custom resolutions (powerstrip or nvidia control panel) and see if the game list it
About the FOV, Dice said we might change it in game settings (never saw an online game giving such a choice).
