ALERT! AQ/MQ/DF SWF Crash Issue Fix [Adobe Update Breaks Trainers Yet Again]

If your trainer is crashing when using SWF hacks then you need to remove your Adobe Flash Security Update or do a work around.

SOLUTION #1

New perm solution (please confirm if works)

Windows10: Open controller panel > system security > flash player > advance > trusted locations > Add the folder containing your Trainer.

Other winOS: Open control panel → Flash Player applet → Go to the Advanced tab → Click the Trusted Location Setting button → Click Add button > Find folder containing your trainer

SOLUTION #2

Uninstall Adobe Flash Security Update (will not work on some Windows 10 versions)

Windows10: Open Settings > Click on "Update & Security" > Click on "Windows Update" > Click on "Update History" > click "Uninstall updates" > Now find and uninstall "Security Update for Adobe Flash Player"

Windows7/Older: Go to Control Panel > Under Programs click "Uninstall a Program" > now click "Viewed installed updates" > Now find and uninstall "Security Update for Adobe Flash Player"

SOLUTION #3

I went through "a little bit" of research. And I have come to solution.
First of all, I have another computer (laptop) where is W7 (32-bit) installed and when I talked about missing components (earlier), I was talking about W7. That missing component part isn't really important as it's only valid if you have the latest version of Flash installed on your computer (W7), so you have to do little work around if you want to make ex. PKDF Trainer v6.0 (not sure if works with that trainer tho, but with VIP version it does) working once again. Legit DragonFable Trainer 4.5, however, broke completely with the latest Flash version on W7. But the solution...

@sam_tunder 's solution is working one. I don't know if the Flash version he recommended to download is the latest one before the versions where is security update pre-installed, but at least it works. Doesn't really matter that much, out-of-date Flash is out-of-date, as long as no one downloads very historic Flash version, it's okay. And then, what to do to fix this problem on W7?

This is for Windows

1. Download archive version of Flash Player from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player...-versions.html
This one: (Released 6/16/2016) Flash Player 22.0.0.192 (312 MB)

2. Extract package, open extracted folder and go to the folder 22_0_r0_192

3. If you already have Flash Player installed on your computer, uninstall it
by executing application uninstall_flashplayer22_0r0_192_win
(Note: DON'T uninstall Flash Player through Programs and Features!

4. After uninstallation, execute application flashplayer22_0r0_192_winax (one with the flash icon)

5. After installation, it's done, Legit DragonFable Trainer 4.5 should work.

Good job correcting your errors, one more thing tho, that's only the update for Windows 8+ there must have been a different one for Windows 7. I don't update windows but I'm sure you can figure it out.

You have to run it as admin to avoid that.

I could only uninstall 1 of them, the other says "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2919355) is required by your computer and cannot be uninstalled."

The only update you need to remove is the Adobe Flash update. Not microsoft windows updates.

Tap on the Windows-key on your keyboard and type remove a program.
Select the result add or remove programs from the list of search results.
Select view installed updates on the left side of the window.
Once you have located the update right-click it and select uninstall from the menu.


Find the adobe security update and tell me what the KB:###### says. If neither of these command lines I posted work, then the updae is under a different KB version

I have windows 7 as well. what do I do? I tried looking for an adobe security update but I didn't see it. only thing with the word Adobe attached was Adobe reader XI.

Or perhaps there is something else to my problem. I can run the program no problem but that's it. If I try to use an hack at all it crashes Like if I click on Max potions, it will crash. If I even simply go to settings and click "check for updates" it was crash. If I don't click any buttons from the menu bar though, I can play the game normal inside the software.

Same here. I don't see any security updates, just an Adobe Reader XI in the list of updates.
