I would love to exercise and get fit :P
I'm not fat or anything nor am I super unfit. Well I'm unfit but I can still run if I need to, But it would be a good goal.
But cooking on the other hand. xD

You could try baking first. I enjoy baking some times and I find it less of a havoc.
Start with cake mixes cause it's pre-made and tells you how to make it.
When you get better, do things from scratch

I recommend making Soufflé.
I enjoy making them. It can be hard at first, but after a couple tries, it should look very nice.

I started off watching videos instead of actually reading the recipe books.
That way you can get a visual idea of how it's made first before you use that background to expand on other sweets.
Crème brûlée also shares similar ingredients and is easier to make. I don't really like eating it, but yeah.
