[HELP] Weapon Texture Mods- Fill Ins

When you are making a weapon texture mod, how do you fill in the gun part with textures. Like for example, in this texture mod,



you see the fire texture on the gun, how it's exact and like H/D and precise? How do you do that in Photoshop?

BTW: That's pwner101's mod.

You put the layer on top of the gun, you change the opacity and you merge the layers.

could u explain a little more? like how do u merge? and how do u get the textures to be right on the point and stuff? thx for your help

i do this take the parts you need break them down and layer w/e you want over them from a website... i have photoshop but im not really good with it and it pisses me off =.=

yeh I get that I need to layer over. But how do I get the gradient to be exactly over the thing? and since there are like holes and stuff inside the guns, I can't just run over them with a gradient.

I hate Photoshop...

i understand why you are the way you are.. and i respect that but calling people stupid all day every day isnt helpful you'd just imagine the longer people's been on this site the more information they'd have and be more helpful they could be. I strongly agree people should just learn this shit on their own i did noone helped me i just learned how to merge pics on photoshop took like 5 minutes to learn now i can merge pics in 30 seconds o.o

lol yeah on photoshop you use the gradiate tool with the magic wand tool to outline a certain part of the picture then you add a layer at the bottom corner and mask that later over the wanded section its hard to xplain o.o go to a photoshop tut on google i'd post the website i used but i dont think im allowed to post websites
