Banned MW2 shows console?!

That's not a glitch.
Same as with Singleplayer.
Sometimes, Depending on how your game closes/crashes/fails opening/eats Pacman-Shaped Cookies,
Console can appear, It is an integrated debugger. It is normal it looks just like the cracked one, Because it is the same, The crack(s) just unlock it when you want, So that's why it is so easy to crack -> Trap.

Melodia is correct in saying that the console has always been there and the crack just unlocked it.

But every game has a developer console; it makes for easy testing. I know, I make video games. When you release a title, you lock all of those testing features for all keys but your team's. MW2 has always had a console, and now it's been updated to catch hacks and cheats, that's all.

Without a console, developers would have to play the entire game in every way possible to make sure everything works. This is unrealistic, that's what Quality Assurance testers do. In fact, before the days of developer consoles, cheats were used for testing. All those codes for old games that give unlimited health and ammo and star power, they were there for developers to use to test games.

The console in MW2 is not a trap, nor is it anything new.

I didn't said it was a trap, I said it's easiness of access used to be one.
They locked variables to read-only, But catched so many poeple using them by implementing a simple "Anti-Cheat" script, That's all.

But No worries, There will still be a way somewhere to run commands by injecting them into memory =D

Console showed up to me Twice in SP while I crashed the game while testing my trainer.
And I don't remember how many times in MP while injecting crap in the game in my sandbox, Displaying errors.

Console doesn't bites, It just does it's job : Displaying errors for them to be fixed, Even if it is supposedly locked.

Oh, Never used any console hacks and such thingies.

It's not a trap...it's IW's built in cheat detection software.
