IDK what it is, but it looks.... Looks..... It looks TOO differnet. I think if you stuck to what you and Kami did at first it would turned out better imo. I dont REALLY see the point of the orbs. It looks like you were trying to fill space already filled with something else

Eh, it seemed to chaotic for my tastes, and i was just experimenting with smudging and shit. I prefer the outcome rather than v2, but you guys have your own tastes, i have no problems with that.

Shift also used a technique (i'm not sure if it was intentional) that all of you guys are unfamiliar with, although its rather quite effective. Its when you use a render to add to the background, adds chaos, extra lighting, gives you an increased amount of smudge variation whilst keeping with the color scheme. I know quite a few people to do this. Im not completely sure if thats what he did here but that technique would lead to such a difference in outcomes.

Anyways as for the piece, i love the final outcome. The smudging is near perfect. The lighting is chaotic yet restrained, and the color scheme is beautiful. This piece reminds me a lot of elf065.

I don't like the orbs, they stand out too much and i'd probably tone them down a bit. As for everything else it's reaaaaaaaaaaaally good and the smudging is near perfect.
