edit: according to a lot of social media posts, this is a "creative" (my word for it lmao) way for promoting/hyping the movie "It" (a scary clown movie, and yes, I know its an old movie) because apparently that movie is being re-made or whatever to fit into todays times and i guess some psycho people who wanted to join this clown situation started taking it to the next level

In new york and south/north carolina and a few more states in the US, there have been hundreds of police reports filed of "clown sightings". Apparently clowns have been chasing cars with bats, clowns luring kids into the woods, or they will just sit in the middle of the street or near trees/bushes to creep people out who pass by/look out their windows.

all they can do is have 24/7 patrol/watch team because the "clowns" literally hide in bushes and behind trees and shit all times of the night
