ive solved the solution myself on why when steam gives you the error of "the game is available at this time please try again later"

i have a problem that is not in the list or i might have over looked it. when i try to play the multi player it says there are no players in the ENTIRE game. i cant find any players and my friends list seems fine but idk is it steam or am i banned?

okay what you need to do is open your routers ports i will post how to do this once i get back off my banned account

okay now i got a couple things...
1st. what country you from?... MAYBE just maybe there arent any servers on or maybe your playing on a different patch.. maybe your actual internet is working or being compatible with mw2.. i will look into this

i used xp and play on steam > zero gear

Log into your router and turn on UPnP (Universal Plug and Play), most routers have this option in the Administration tab.

The goal is to have an OPEN NAT in order to host Spec Ops games and get a wider selection of MP matches to join.
