Question about VAC2 Disabler

Hey, I know that VAC2 disablers can be patched, but can they be detected? If you're using one thats patched will your entire steam account get banned?

Here's the deal: public ones do not work. Private disablers work for awhile. During the time that they do work, you won't get banned. Period. But, once VAC gets patched, if you continue to use it, you'll be banned on every game engine you use it in conjunction with. But only after VAC is patched.

Precisely. Steam can't ban your whole account. I've never seen it done. They can ban you from all your games if you cheat in them.

Yea, I've been using 1.0 supernovas vac disabler for a couplamonths without problems, but i have a feeling my times up, and i was wondering if it was gonna ban me on every game i ran without vac, which was only mw2

Just keep yourself in tune about Steam updates. Whenever Steam does an update, scour the changelog for VAC notes.

Generally Steam opens a new window displaying all their changes when it's updated, however I'm sure you could find that information on Steam's website.
