Yes you can get vac banned, but the chances of it are those of being struck by a meteor.
Not because this uses some super secret secure obfuscation, but because its just skins. No external processes running or dlls injected.

The game is, like most source games, very skin friendly. All you're doing is using them.

Yes there's VAC ban in Insurgency, though this is a mod not an hack. It's like downloading a reskin from the workshop, it can't be detected... The only way to be banned is to upload screenshots/videos with your name on while using this mod.

The US no armor is still without color. Any fix?

As i previously stated:

No Armor and VIP class retextures don't work online right now. I've spoken to the developers and they said they will fix this issue in the next update.
For now, there's nothing i can do. 'Though, since the light vest doesn't cost points for security forces, most of the people use it, this bug is not a big deal.


When they will update the game and whitelist No Armor and VIP textures, this mod will be 100% working

I cant figure out what to do with the file. i put it in my insurgency2 folder but i start the game and hit insert and nothing happens.. anyone care to help out a noob hacker? please and ty

Updated Vision Enhancement Mod (NOW WITH DIFFERENT COLORS!)
This is a mod, hence it can't be detected or patched!

This mod is an UPDATED improved version of the vision enhancement mod that has been alredy posted on this forum, hope you like it!

HOW IT WORKS:
This mod overhauls normal Insurgents and American army skins!

WHAT'S NEW:

Now this mod changes the color depending on the type of vest used, so you can recognise enemies in the blink of an eye and decide which is your primary target!
This is the color pattern!

Insurgent No Armor
Insurgent Light Armor
Insurgent Heavy Armor
US No Armor
US Light Armor
US Heavy Armor

HOW TO INSTALL:
Delete any previous "Vision Enhancement" mod installed, by simply deleting its folder
Download the file below and unzip it on your desktop
Copy the file "Updated Improved Vision Enhancement" and paste it into the "custom" folder that's located in your Insurgency folder C:/Program Files:/Steam:/steamapps:/common:/insurgency2:/insurgency:custom

TROUBLESHOOT:
Q - I installed the mod correctly, 'though the mod is not working. What's wrong?
A - Make sure you're playing on a server that allows the use of mods (most of the servers that are listed as "Mods disabled", actually have them enabled, so you just have to try few servers until you find the good one!

I followed the instructions but there seems to be black bars spurting across the screen. The previous one worked fine. Also, since this is an updated version does that mean i can still used the old one?
