It would be nice if I could use a hack and know I have 3 chances. As such, my paranoia has led me not to hack. That's VAC2 fear-inspiring for yas.

thx for this great post but i don't speak very good english so i don't understand or i don't see something : if i use a perk unlocker , challanges unlocker ,guns unlocker or level hack ( not prestige 10,70 but prestige 2,70 ) can i get banned ?

As long as you don't have the perk unlocker open when you click play, you shouldn't get banned. Although be smart about what you unlock, if you're second prestige level 70 with 2 hours played you will probably get banned.

What about specifics like what functions VAC uses and how often it checks for irregular behavior, and maybe even how it detects that strange behavior (aka hacks)?

I opened the megaunlocker and it wasnt working but this is b4 i clicked play. This is after the new update once the hack stopped working. Will i stil get banned?

there is no vac folder, it is a module. why dont you read why i posted? visit monster homepage and read the vac thread...

btw %temp% is your temp folder of your pc
