Step 1: Go to: Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2

Step 2: Find the map "miles"

Step 3: Change the name off the map to "dismiles"

That's all!

What does this do?

1. Mute the music at the begin off a round.
2. Mute the music at the last minut off a round (Time is almost up).
3. Mute the music when waiting in a party/lobby.
4. Mute the music when you level up.

When you play wars on clanbase or play alot on S&D (hardcore) it's very useful.

I don't like to listen to the crap music in the last minut off the map, when your protecting the bomb and you hear the enemy coming and than your all lost because the shit music starts playing and you cant hair the footsteps anymore. It's very annoying.

But like i said before, maybe its not useful for you because your not a sound player?

lol, I am. but with really good sound system, it doesnt really matter. I can hear the footsteps over the noise.

I got a shittie headset so i can't hear the footsteps over the noise . But yeah it's works fine for me and i just wanted to share it.

(I know it's not a realy important tutorial)

not ninja footsteps, those are 0.25 times normal footsteps, AND the most important ones to listen to. i play hc snd.

ninja reduces your footsteps. multiplied by 0.25 if i remember correctly. sitrep pro makes enemie footsteps louder, 4 times. The two perks negate eachother.

You said you had high quality audio, i guess thats a lie. You CAN hear ninja opponents footsteps with a piece of good audio hardware, and volume at a high lvl.

maybe you shouldnt think about yourself so much maybe you should think about ppl who have just enough specs and a crappy ass sound system

but anyway great post man keep it up what i would really like to do is get some sounds for stuff like headshots like if it actually says headshot while your getting one
