"This is our world now. The world of the electron and the switch; the beauty of the baud. We exist without nationality, skin color, or religious bias. You wage wars, murder, cheat, lie to us and try to make us believe it's for our own good, yet we're the criminals. Yes, I am a criminal. My crime is that of curiosity. I am a hacker, and this is my manifesto. You may stop me, but you can't stop us all."

Protecting a system & software is a lot more interesting then attacking it in most cases. There are some where attacking is more fun. Which is why when I get older I'm either going to
A ) Become a software engineer(w\ a bit of hardware engineering)
B ) Make dem games.
C ) Become a white-hat hacker(those writing anti-hacking software, or protecting servers, aiding in govt. related operations).
I wanna be all of them though, lol.
But yeah, the curiosity excuse doesn't work, because hacking is one of least interesting subjects in computer programming(with few exceptions ofc, but game hacking is fosho NOT one of them).
@Empire, it's not hard to hack games with poor funding, but once you get older, it becomes a much more serious topic, and requires lots of time and training to do. It took at least a year to build a sufficient security system for the PS3, and only three years later was it cracked. The one who cracked claims it only took him five days, BUT USING THE DOCUMENTS DEVELOPED BY OTHERS WHO'VE ATTEMPTED IT. Jesus, I can't believe no one pointed that shit out.
