@Punkie I don't think you should have it closed. Closing this would throw away all the leverage you have on him. If he really was serious, you would have had your money by now.

Wait till the money is in your hand OP. Scammers will always try to play the "nice guy" however he is still a scammer in the long run.

He thought he could get away with it but after everyone commenting on here, he pretty much got scared and regrets it now. It was seriously a dumb move to scam someone with a lot of traces leading back to him and all this info that was easily found. He should had known he wouldn't had gotten away with it by chargebacking $700, I would had done the same thing and go after him. Hope he lived in LA, would had paid him a visit by his school if he did.
