Using VR is disorienting as fuck. The chances of you falling over (especially doing what he was doing) are incredibly high -- or at least tripping and catching yourself. Your eyes are telling your brain that you're moving, but your legs aren't, so your body freaks out and tries to "correct the problem" because you're standing. Sitting is a little easier, still makes you dizzy though.

My buddy brought over his Oculus Rift yesterday, and we had to sorta make sure nobody fell over when we were playing certain games. You get used to it after a few minutes, though.
