I was given an infraction for "Image/Video Spam" for posting the image below in a thread in General. Now, I agree it is spam. However, I would like you to go to that thread and tell me that every post / the thread itself isn't a bunch of fucking spam? If you're going to infract me, I want everyone else in that thread infracted and I want the thread moved to the spam section. Because that's what it is, everyone there is spamming.

Although said thread doesn't serve any purpose other than to let others know about a joke mentioned in an MPGH Private Skype Group, it was still posted in the General section and it's okay as such, especially in comparison to other way more redundant General threads that aren't deleted. "Let's make this into a trend.", all the users who posted in the thread in question simply followed up the chain and started to post the same thing as in the original post. That's acceptable, once again, considering it's the General section we're talking about. Your post, however, was completely pointless as you yourself have already admitted and that was why you were directly infracted for it. Furthermore, like I referred in the private message I sent you, you should know much better than this by now. You're an already somewhat known user among the MPGH community and you also joined it in 2011... If anything, you should be setting an example for new users as an old user and not otherwise.

I would like opinions on this. The thread clearly belongs in a spam section in my eyes, and therefore once it is moved my post is no longer infractable. If not, am I able to just post random hashtags and start a chain in the General section? Literally any of these chain things are ALWAYS in the spam section, they should not be in general.

FYI, Hero, Flengo, Hugo Boss, all of them had already seen the thread in question too and didn't move it to the Spammers Corner section either.

To be fair, you could have stated something else instead of posting an image of the word "spam".
"#RoyceLivesMatter" is better than an image of the literal word "spam" because you made a spam post directly.
There is no need for someone to post an image, but I assume you posted it jokingly.
As always, there are better ways to approach the system.
Ignorance and blaming others is also not an excuse.
If you assumed it would have been moved to the spammers corner, then you should have waited before you posted that image.
It's still in the general section.

If you thought it was spam in the first place, the simple "report button" would have notified the corresponding staff to deal with it.
Some people may think that the "movement" would not be considered as spam, but some may think otherwise.
It's an opinion based thread and some of us wouldn't consider the thread to be actual spam.
In regards to the post, I would have deleted it at most.
I did see your "spam" post before it was deleted + given an infraction by another GM.

Thanks, Hugo. Also, I'd like to point out another reason why I directly infracted you for the post you made was because it wasn't the first time such a thing had happened. I've already come across a few other General threads in which you made similar posts to the one in question. Cba to search them up right now since I don't even remember what they were about/what was their titles, but yeah. It's like I said, you're an old user and you should be well aware of the forum rules by now as well as know that you're not to break them. Even if this was your first offence, you should still know better regardless.

Kind of a useless post unless you can show evidence of such. I have never made similar posts as the one in question. I know the rules, I admitted that my post was spam. The disagreement is that you think that thread is not considered spam and belongs in General section. If this stands, I will create random movements every other day in the general section and by the precedent you set it is not considered spam so I should not be banned / infracted.

Infraction should be reversed...But next time try not to post image spam and such unless it is strictly in spammers corner.

@Hero, alright then. Just allowed said thread to remain in the General section since other movement threads were allowed to stay in it as well, e.g. the "Raple4Moderator" one. Also, given the outcome of this staff dispute of yours, @Copperhorse, I'd like to apologize for mistakenly infracting you for claimed reason. Note that it wasn't anything personal at all though. Anyway, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. @Liz, please reverse the infraction I handed out to Copperhorse just today. Thanks in advance.
