I guess there's always room to improve rules.

Having a few signatures eat up votes when no effort nor originality is behind them kind of defeats the purpose of the competition.
I'd like to see a rule that demands the sources used alongside your entry, then let the voters decide if what you created is relevant or not.

In your case you would just have to link the stock image you used (leaving you free to not include the tutorial video) while Kimchi's Bro would've had to link the stock he used aswell.
When voting people may decide on their own that the entry is not edited enough and not vote for it as a result, without having to impose the rule.

If that's not done, and if this trend continues, people could literally grab any outstanding image (which can be other people's signatures), slap "mpgh" on it and call it a valid entry, which again, would defeat the purpose of the competition since there is no rule against it.

TL;DR: "no ripping" and a "link source used" rules should be added.

Taking an image and simply changing its color is not considered making your own signature.
Your signature will not be included on the contest. You have time to actually add things to the signature and do something
with that image or any image you want to use. You have till the deadline.

Your signature is exactly the same as tutorial. Yes, you watch tutorials on how to do different things in order to learn. Problem
here is that copying what a 10min tutorial tells you and making the exact same thing is simply like taking a image and adding MPGH on it. Your signature will be accepted on this event. From now on signatures need to have some effort into it. Not just following a tutorial. You could have used what you learned from the video and made something unique and original.

IV2B you are right. I will enforce a originality rule, which will take all the signatures into review and they will be checked on how original they are. Copying things exactly from youtube or just changing one or two thing in a image you find on googles are no where near to be original and unique signatures. Copying a tutorial exactly, or and image on google with MPGH on it can be considered to be pre-made images/sigs as well. Thank you to both of you for your help and opinions.

- Effort
