'Extreme surveillance' passes UK legislation
A bill in the UK was passed this week which gives UK intelligence agencies the most dominant surveillance powers in the western world today. The 'Investigatory Powers Act', which grants UK intelligence agencies legal power to utilize a whole range of tools for snooping and hacking by the security services. It is unmatched by any western European country and even the US. The Investigatory Powers Act legalises power that security agencies and police have been using for years without proper legislation or notification from parliament or the public. Now, it has been officially legalized, and this denounces the possibility of any whistleblowing action from occuring among journalists or inside workers. The bill legislates hacking into phone and computers, access to masses of stored personal data, even if a person is not under any criminal investigation or scrutiny. The very act of legalizing such a bill puts forth a sense of violation of privacy, and, as Jim Killock, the executive director of Open Rights Group, stated himself, “The UK now has a surveillance law that is more suited to a dictatorship than a democracy. The state has unprecedented powers to monitor and analyse UK citizens’ communications regardless of whether we are suspected of any criminal activity.” The UK law was passed this Thursday.
McDonald's coffee to be severed aboard flights
Earlier today WestJet Airlines has signed a deal to serve McDonald’s coffee aboard its flights. This is not the first time big companies partner up with airlines to serve their product aboard flight. Air Canada serves Second Cup coffee on its flights and Porter Airlines serves Starbucks coffee in some of their flights as well. This is starting to become a popular trend between big coffee companies around the world. They will start serving McDonald's coffee on a flight from Toronto to Calgary today and expand the service across its fleet in the next couple months. The McCafe brand has been working on improving its coffee for couple years now. They are looking to be seen as one of the top coffee brands of the world.
The Division Update & Survival Mode Launch Next Week for Xbox One, PC
This morning Massive, the creator of The Division announced the release date for the upcoming update and new DLC.
PC and Xbox One users will have access to the new content 22 November and for PlayStation 4 players it will be 22 December this year.
After update 1.4 the game is at more stable state and very well accepted by new and old players.
That gives Massive the time needed to address some of the biggest community requests.
One of them is increasing the stash size (a problem for every RPG player out there) from 70 to 150 slots.
1.5 will add 1 more World Tier (they were 4 from 1.4 Update). They were created for the player to choose what difficulty to be the world they are playing in. Bigger the tier = bigger the Gear Score of the dropped items.
12 new weapon types will be added to the game with this update and 4 HE named weapons each with unique stats and talents to help the player during gaming sessions.
Survival Expansion will introduce an entirely new game mode. This game mode will add the demand for food, water and medicine. Also, there will be new enemy called Hunter, who will search and try to destroy the player without any mercy. This game mode will play like seassons, and the players who survive it will be granted numerous weapons, gear caches and credits.
Survival can be played on PvE (for the players who want to play against AI controlled enemies) and PvP (you will have to deal also with the real players around you) .

Intel's Abandoned Wearable: the Basis Ruby
Wearable technology has been a hot trend the past few years with the introduction of Samsung's and Apple's product. Other companies have tried to tap into that market and start their own line of products. A few notable companies include FitBit and Motorola. Intel decided to give it a try themselves and spent the last few years trying to come up with a product of their own but it just wasn't paying off. The idea behind Intel's product is a fitness band similarly to that of a FitBit. However due to employee cuts and failure to compete with other companies that have already made a name for themselves in the market, Intel decided to scrap the idea entirely just recently. All in all, Intel didn't really innovate much with this band. In fact, many people have said that the band is very much like the ones FitBit makes. Overall, this is just one idea that Intel has scrapped.

Microsoft joins the Linux Foundation
Unexpectedly, Microsoft announced that it is joining the Linux Foundation as a Platinum -high paying- member. Microsoft is now one of the greatest contributors around to open source over the last couple of years, It has brought SQL server to Linux, built Canonical's Ubuntu distribution into Windows 10, partnered with SUSE, Red Hat and others. It has also contributed to multiple projects managed by Linux Foundation such as, Node.js, the R consortium, the Open API Initiative and the Open Container Initiative.
This announcement will still be shocking to many despite all of that, considering the Linux community and Microsoft most of the time felt like they were in conflict with each other in the past. “There will be some skepticism, but that will be from a smaller group,” Said Linux Foundation executive director Jim Zemlin, adding that such reactions happen every-time a major corporation goes open source.
There are other Linux Foundation Platinum members like Cisco, HPE, Oracle, Samsung, Huawei, Intel and Fujitsu which pay $500,000 roughly for the privilege. There are also dozens of Gold sponsors, such as Google and Facebook.
John Gossman ( Azure team architect ) will join the Board of Directors of the Linux Foundation.

Only You - Roy Woods
Roy Woods has released an incredible song featuring Ty Dolla Sign and underground artist 24hrs. This song has been praised by Wiz Khalifa on twitter. OVO artist Roy Woods has always been one for the scandalous and romantic slander rhymes and in this song he continues that trend. If you've never listened to Roy Woods before he's a very unique artist (I'd assume that's why he's in October's Very Own, Drake's record label). With lyrics like the weekend and vocals like a Jamaican Frank Ocean, Roy Woods dominates anything he creates. Now lets touch on 24hrs. Personally I've never listened to this artist before but he's incredible. I've never been a big fan of auto-tune or obsessive auto-tune, but when it' 24hrs I actually enjoyed it. Every lyric 24hrs has in this song is auto-tuned in some way. Normally this would sound appalling and wouldn't be very intriguing but with the production of this single it works very well. A very interesting track, I'd highly encourage giving it a listen.
If you would like to listen to this single you can do so here
Kanye West Has Cancelled The Saint Pablo Tour
On November 19, 2016, Saturday, Kanye West performed in Sacramento, California at his Life Of Pablo concert. Kanye ended his show after playing three songs and speaking to the crowd for about 15 minutes. He said that he was "hurt" by Beyoncé this year, and that Jay-Z still hasn't called him since Kim Kardashian's robbery, and that Hillary Clinton lost the election because she ignored the feelings of middle America. Kanye also brought out Kid Cudi for a surprise performance of "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. I" and hugged him, after the two traded harsh criticism of each other back in September. Regarding Beyoncé, Knaye said he was hurt over the alleged negotiation with MTV where she said she would only perform at the VMA's if she won "Video of the Year" for Formation.
West also referenced the presidental election results, repeatedly saying that we're in a "new world" and then adding, "If you keep following old models, your ass is going to get Hillary Clinton'd." He also added comments about Obama by saying, "Obama couldn't make America great, he couldn't be him to be who he was. Black men have been slaves. Obama wasn't allowed to do this and still win. He had to be perfect. But being perfect don't always change shit, bro. I am putting my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk when I talk to y'all like this. This is a moment in the matrix, bro." Kanye by saying I can change things, and he has a vision of doing so. At the end of the speech, he said to the press get ready, and then he proceeding saying "the show is over" and drops the mic like a total badass.
After ending his Sacramento show early, he canceled the remaining dates on his Saint Pablo Tour. You can see the full speech above, and him taking shots and blaming the radio and MTV.
University of Texas Head Football Coach Charlie Strong fired.
The inevitable has finally happened. Texas football coach Charlie Strong has been fired from his position. In his 3 seasons at Texas, he has gone 16-20 which is one of the worst record in Texas football history. Texas is known for being a football juggernaut, and the boosters are willing to pay out a ridiculous amount of money for a head football coach that will get them back on the right track (Possibly $10m+). As for Charlies contract, the university will be paying him $10.7 million in order to end his contract and he does not coach elsewhere. What put the nail in the coffin for Strong was a devastating loss to a 1-9 Kansas team in which they lost in overtime. As for their next coach there have been a lot of rumors of Houston coach Tom Herman. Texas faced TCU next week to determine if they will become bowl eligible or will have another negative season.
Berlusconi agrees sale of AC Milan to Chinese investors
AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has agreed to sell the Italian club to a group of Chinese investors. The Italian club values at €740m (£627m), with a further €220m (£186m) in debt. Berlusconi owns %99.33 of the club which he will sell to the Chinese investors. This deal values at about $800 million. The closing for the club sale is slated for 13th of December. Berlusconi will stay as an honorary president at the club after selling it if he can retain powers impacting the squad. "I would have to have some abilities to intervene, like yes or no on buying or selling players or on playing formations," Berlusconi told the reporters early Monday after Milan's 2-2 draw with Inter in the city derby, this confirms that Chinese group offered him the position of the honorary president.
Mythbusters Art Show
Thee Burbank memorabilia shop Creature Features unveiled its latest art exhibit, Testing Myths (Elderkin, 4). The idea came to mind from the artist Chogrin. The art for this art show was created from various artists who made their pieces in tribute of the work the Mythbusters (Adam Savage, and Jamie Hyneman) have done. From esque block prints to Muppet parodies in the artwork. Mythbusters will be airing it's last show in March unfortunately. But there are rumors of the team coming together again for a new Netflix series. Also there are rumors about a new team airing a generic version of Mythbusters as well. All in all Mythbusters is a favorite television show for all. Thanks for the hard work boys!

20 years of unique and beautiful apple designs
Apple is now celebrating their 20 years. With this they have a released their own book called "Designed by Apply in California". Book consists of designs from its in-house team shown in 450 photographs of past and current Apple products. Apple chief design officer has said the book is dedicated to Steve Jobs and the main reason of the release is to explain why and how many of the Apple products exist. The book took years to put together and design. Apple had to buy older products from 3rd-party sellers because of how old and rare some of their products are. The book is now available for the public.

Former world's fattest man moves from his bed for first time in six years
A grown up Mexican man whose current weight is 1,100 lbs and had not left his bed in six years has now been removed from it by medical personnel with the help of especial equipment for health treatment purposes. The 32-year-old, named in reports as Juan Pedro Franco Salas, was taken from his home located in the central city of Aguascalientes. Gabriela Centeno, spokeswoman of Dr. Jose Antonio Castaneda's office, said the patient was taken to Guadalajara where blood samples of his were taken. She also said he will remain in the city for several months to receive proper health treatment. On a side and yet curious note, Mexican Manuel Uribe was once considered to be the world's heaviest man, before he died in 2014 at the age of 48. Mr. Uribe's weight peak of 1,230 lbs was certified in 2006 as a Guinness World Record.

Chain Reactions
We all know you have to be careful driving in a wooded area, especially at night, since you are liable to see a deer on the road at any given time. However, you should also be careful walking in a wooded area too. This was the case in Tennessee after a car hit a deer, causing the deer to fly up into the air, and hit a human on the way back down. The pedestrian hit was then moved to Tennova Healthcare where he was treated for broken bones. The Deer simply got up and walked away. This gives a new meaning to the whole Deer sign, so you should be careful walking around a wooded area, since you never know when a Deer is going to spring up (literally) and break a couple of your bones.
