Console emulator viable on pc?

I know you can emulate it. I was wondering how GOOD it will run. I wanted to emulate Final Fantasy XV on the pc since they won't have a pc release for like 1-2 years.

I played a gameboy color emulator to rape some pokemon games this summer but i don't remember wich one it was.
This was fun to play those games again, but not really cool to play it on a 1800$ computer.

There is no newer versions out of the current consoles, for another 10 years or so, even last generation isn't much viable.

No emulators out BUT if you have a strong computer, obviously it will trump the hardware in consoles by a longshot.
