Cant open Csgo MAC? I can help

Hello, as many mac users know recent updates have made it impossible to open the game. You will open the game, your desktop will show csgo_osx64 opening but it will crash without starting the game. I recently had a mac 10.7.5 and once the updates came out, my csgo stopped working. Finally, yesterday I figured out how to fix this problem. You need to download the new update (osx sierra) for your mac. You can find it in the app store. Though apple recommends backing up before updating, it can be quite expensive bc of the external drive. I updated without backing up and I still have all of my files. i hope this helps some of you
