Yeah python is pretty simple compared to a lot of other languages, plus its extremely commonly used so almost any question you have will already be on stackoverflow.

Of course wether or not its a viable language for what you want to do is a different question.

To put it simple, Python is a scripting language, it's capable of doing alot more than what PHP can. I suggest you use Python 3, although a lot of tutorials may suggest using Python 2, but do not do that. The difference between 2 and 3 isn't much (assuming that you will figure out most of the differences by yourself.)

But keep in mind, Python is a rather casual language, declarations are different. Other languages are strict and will punish you for mistakes.

I suggest studying from ground up rather than sky down. Learn math while learning ASM and C. And then learn Python. And learn web-dev last.

@VOSSWATER there is no genuine/concrete/existent language such as `Phyton`. However, I'm informed to know a language called `Python`.

Python is an easier language than most since the syntax is much easier; also, it comes with alot of packages and stuff that comes with all the crap you'll ever need XD
