can psn codes get your console banned?

i am tempted to buy cheap psn codes with my BTC but i am really afraid that my console can get banned if the psn code is bought with a stolen credit card.can this happen?

i mean if i buy a psn gift card from the forum and load it to my account.and if the gift code is bought with a stolen credit card.can sony ban my console?

I don't think they ban accounts, use these at your own risk though.

if the game s carded then and the owner of the card chargesback i am pretty sure the console is banned.
but not sure about gift codes though.

No, you won't get console banned if the gift card are carded. Instead, they'll remove any current leftover fund from the card and removing all contents bought with the funds from the card. The only way to get console banned if a 3rd party program is detected in your console or if the console was jailbroken and you're playing illegally downloaded game.

They can't console ban you on that also, instead most of the time, they'll just tell the owner to secure their account more properly and make them wait until they can deactivate all the devices that has their account linked to it or they'll(rarely happens) deactivate for them.

my cousins ps4 got banned from carded game.
he bought an account from plati with lots of games in it.
and made it his primary and played a few weeks even.
then got banned with no notification or whatsoever.
then he learned from sony that , the owner of the credit card chargedback for the games bought with his/her credit card.
my cousin paid the sum and later unbanned.

I have never heard about a person getting console banned because of a person charging back. Maybe your cousin got unlucky

if account contains a game which is carded and the card owner chargesback your ps4 is banned until the amount is paid period.

If you use another users credit/debit card to buy a game on their own account or yours, your console will get ban 100%, also a chargeback will always = Ban on the console that was used to purchase. If you download their existing games however without using the card then No you will not get banned. Also gift card codes cannot be traced via the card you used to purchase as there are different vendors and codes are offered at random, the specific code itself can be traced but not the card used to purchase it. Anyway I would not recommend doing/purchasing anything on PSN with someone else's card

but unfortunately the guy who sold the account to my cousin did indeed.

anyways i am glad there are no gift card bans because i am buying a lot of gift cards from the forum.
