[AS3] support/display Unicode?

currently you can have it showing on chat box, but when it send it shows nothing or blank.
edit: 27.7.X2 using wat its called "Model_MyriadPro" as font, so just changing that would make characters i want to show up?

i think you have yoo upload your own font files in the correct folders and then change it

You could try checking the chat packet handler where it checks for trash/null/whatever characters, remove that bit of code, rebuild project, then go onto your server and try your funky unicode.

Just a suggestion.

Well I want ign able to accept unicode as well, but thanks will try that one for chat

I'm assuming you're using FSoD, since you are using the X2 client, mhm?

In the client, you could go to the choose name frame and there should be a regex where you will see it only allows lowercase and uppercase letters from a-z.

In the server, there should as well be more code for only allowing specific characters in server>account>setName.cs

I would try it myself to confirm before suggesting this stuff I am saying, but I honestly haven't touched FSoD in weeks and weeks, any private server source, matter of fact, and I am too lazy to check/set up FSoD because just recently (like, literally a day ago) started working on an older source though (MMOE w/ 123.5.1 Client Source)

Edit: 99% chance you will have to install its font in order for them to show correctly though (cred 2 059 4 telling font thing)
