This thread has a download for a working CA windowed mode.
(Please post your results. Include your OS (type/version) in your post.)

Instructions:

»»Download the attachment.
»»The picture below, and the one in the attachment show where, and what files to put into your CA folder.
»»Start up CA.

Trouble Shooting:
»»Windows Update (Your OS is up to date)
»» .Net Framework 3.5+
»»Complete CA files (None missing/other hack files present)
»»Direct X 9c +
»»Some may require d3dx9_42.dll, d3dx9_37.dll, and d3dx9_35.dll Download missing .dlls(In the CA folder and/ system32 folder)
»»(A long shot) You can try a smaller ingame resolution
»»Other public hack may conflict (I've tried all the MPGH ones, and they don't conflict)

I've tried redownloading and trying it again and it still doesn't work for me

Try going into your HS folder and deleting these files: .txt, and .mhe
Then go into your Update folder in the HS folder, and use the "autoup" program.
Then go back into your HS folder, and run the "HSUpdate" program.
Then try using CA with the windowedmode.

what the whole point of windowed mode

For some, it's to find new/working hacks, and for others, it's the use of background programs while using CA.

Lol nice job 9.10 but i wanna ask wats the point of window mode only noob hacks work for window mode good ones dont need window mode o.o and it makes ur mouse pointer go out side of the window so erritating

True about the noob hack thing in a way, but like I mentioned, it's for hack makers/finders, and multi-tasking users.

Windows 7 x86 (32-bit fuckers)
works, but after some minor work.
if it doesn't work, try this: (I had to do all of these)
.:. shut down all other applications except for windows resources (that means you game booster user)
.:. make sure you used a cleaner, because you probably haven't. [here]
.:. PLEASE GODDAMIT, RUN IN COMPATIBILITY OF WINDOWS 2000
.:. first try it without hacks, or injecting hax.
.:. remember to double-read this guys post, hes pretty specific.

its not his, we found that out lol, and yea nexom fails at patching hacks... its like they dont evene know this site exists

Yes, this mode has been around for a while, and most versions are patched now, but I doubt you have this exact version.

In development, Having a windowed mode of a direct X project is Key,

Crosshair in VB.net require a topmost setting, when using a non windowed mode, it requires a timer, and the crosshair flashes, and it's just annoying, with a window mode, that won't be the case, Spammers that are created without virtual keys and use sendkeys can be used now, the list goes on and on,
