    GPU Upgrade

Hey Guys, I dunno, I hope this is the right section to ask?!
so right now I have a MSI GTX 760 (4GB) and i just wanted to know if its worth upgrading to something like the 1060 3GB version. I mostly play Payday 2 but i will buy BF1 sometime soon, so do u guys think its worth upgrading?

Well, what are the rest of your PC specs?

If it is not going to bottleneck and you have the money, why not?

Why not just get the 6gb version for a few $ more and get more power and longevity out of it

When you get BF1 play it for a good hour and if everything is good, then dont upgrade... And maybe spend a bit more on the 6gb model..

Just get the best gpu you can for your specs without bottlenecking/other issues, and go all out because you can just refund it

Make sure the PSU keeps up, a semi module/module psu is always recommended. As long as the psu is at least 430w, ur fine.

I5-2500 is fine, with a 1060 you should be able to handle 48 fps on crisis 3 medium setting.

For the price you are paying for a 1060, i would pay the little extra to get a 1070, I did Asus 1070

The 256bit on the 1070, really does make a difference compared to the 1060's 192bit.
Dont get me wrong, 1060 is a great card, but paying £150-175 when you could get a 1070 for around £250.

I know that's ranging from £75-100 differenc, But for an extra 5GB RAM, and 25% increase in bit rates.. thats a huge differenc.

**EDIT, I didnt realise this was a dead thread until i had posted
