Current VP and heir to Samsung arrested!
Lee Jae-yong, the "heir-apparent" to the Samsung business empire, was arrested on charges of bribery and influence-peddling. This is the latest development in an ongoing investigation that took down South Korean President Park Geun-hye. On Lee's order, Samsung (the largest business conglomerate in South Korea) was accused of paying roughly $37 million in bribes in exchange for government support for a Samsung merger in 2015. This corruption scandal has now implicated people at the highest levels of business and government in South Korea.

Initially the Seoul Central District Court rejected the request to get Lee arrested but eventually went against their initial decision after additional evidence was provided by the prosecutor. Lee has since admitted to several bribes he's offered high ranking officials and other companies in order to get political favors and support for the proposed merger. Shareholders will be holding meetings to elect a new VP and discuss the future of Samsung while Lee clears everything out in court. According to Bloomber, it may take up to 18 months for a trial and verdict (The Verge).

U.S. puts aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson into the South China Sea
The United States has put aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson into the South China Sea despite China's warnings of challenging its sovereignty. The U.S. says they are implementing a "freedom of navigation" cruise, which means US military ships are allowed to travel through the waters of other countries, possibly hurting U.S.-international relations. The Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Brunei, and China all claim they own portions of the South China Sea. In July 2016, China's claims were denied by an international court, which China swiftly ignored. China has built multiple man made islands used for military purposes to try and cement their claim to the land. The Trump administration has stated that China does not own the sea, and that any man made islands occupied by China will not be accessible to China in the future. China has multiple times threatened war if anyone tries to deny their ownership of the sea.

NO BETTER WAY TO STAY WARM THAN WITH SOME HOT, NEW UPDATES
DICE released the next big free update about their game Battlefield 1. Coincidence or not, they did it on 14 Feb, maybe for the lone soldiers out there to have what to do, or gaming couples to experience something new, who knows. This update brings some stuff from some older Battlefield games and other new add-ons.

The most important part: your class level is not limited to level 10. The newest max level is now 50 per class. On every ten levels you will get battle packs, and when you hit level 50, you will be granted some new goodies.You will get new badges for your kill card to show your skill to your victims.
You will say that this will bring new grinding for levels, and you are right, but DICE thought about this. Ribbons from the previous Battlefield titles are returning here! You will be awarded ribbons for several heals, spots, etc. . There will be added 20 ribbons to encourage team play. Every ribbon will give you 300xp that will help you to reach the new max class levels.
You will be now able to unlock Elite Codex for 8 of the primary weapons in the game.The player only needs to get 500 kills with the said gun and will receive Elite Codex for it and 25, 000xp bonus.
Players will be able to vote for the next map after they finish their current game.
DICE finally adds the function rent-a-server. Admins on this servers will have the power to kick/ban annoying or hacking players.

Sequel to Fallout Shelter announced
Fallout Shelter was a worldwide sensation before the release of Fallout 4, with well over 50 million registered players and millions of dollars from microtransactions. The success also managed to build a massive amount of excitement even for those who weren't previously fans of the series. The game was developed by the same studio (Bethesda Game Studios) that made Skyrim and later Fallout 4. The director of the studios revealed that they would be making more mobile games as they found Fallout Shelter to be a huge hit.

The new mobile games haven't been announced yet however in a interview with Gamespot, Howard discussed the success of Shelter and gave a hint towards the next mobile gaming title. Later in the interview he talked about maintaining long term success in the mobile market, stating that continual updates and frequent new features are what keeps the playerbase active. This is very different from console gaming as many games are perfect when you buy them off the shelf, and only have updates to fix bugs of you're forced to pay for DLC.

For now, we don't know much about the new game, but we know it's coming. Bethesda Studios opened a new office in Montreal with the aim to expand mobile gaming.

Nokia Relaunching the 3310
In a strange turn of events, Nokia has recently announced that they will be releasing the Nokia 3310 which has been known to consumers around the world as the indestructible phone. The Nokia 3310 was originally released in 2000 and quickly caught attention of consumers for it's rigid and solid body. A few drops will leave this phone unscathed and it's reputation as the indestructible phone soon gain popularity. After a while, the 3310 became a well known internet meme. It seems that Nokia has heard the call and answered. The revived version of the 3310 will be sold for around $62 USD. It will be revealed at the Mobile World Congress later this February. If you can not wait for the official release date of the phone, you can still buy one either on Amazon or on eBay. It's nice to see Nokia re-releasing a fan favorite after all these years. Not much information has been announced on the phone besides the unveil location and date. We don't exactly know if they will be changing the design or adding new tech components. If I had to guess, I would assume that the phone will come with a new display and battery.

Sprint and T-Mobile merger talks are starting again
Reuters reported that SoftBank (Sprint’s parent company) is giving it a try to approach Deutsche Telekom regarding a T-Mobile merger. This time it is different as they will be giving up control of Sprint instead of trying to acquire T-Mobile, giving Deutsche Telekom most of the company and merging the two wireless carriers. Sources told Reuters that the negotiations regarding this are expected to start around April. Rumors of the merger were spread around 2013 as a result of SoftBank talking about buying T-Mobile. But Sprint ignored the plans as it was difficult for them to pto pass such deal at that time because of FCC regulators. However, these rumors came back under the new Trump administration, “potential outcome” said T-Mobile CEO John Legere recently about a merger at this past CES. Large mergers of other giant corporations are expected to be approved by Ajit Pai-led FCC, such as Time Warner and AT&T. The report from Reuters states that SoftBank has been suffering from the lack of growth in the United States. This week, Sprint was forced to follow suit after Verizon announced returning the unlimited data plans to be able to stay competitive with T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.

Nav - Some Way
This week Nav has released a new single featuring The Weeknd. Nav has been getting involved with a lot of the more elite rappers here recently as he was featured on Travis Scott's newest album. The beat on this song is similar to his others in that it's a chill but groovy beat. This song will for sure gain a lot of popularity if not only for The Weeknd leading a huge role in it, but it's just an amazing song. Not incredibly too much to say about this track, the production was on par (which is to be expected from a song by Nav), vocals from both parties were superb and the collaboration of these two is great.

Future - FUTURE
Future's self-titled new album is now available everywhere as of on Thursday, February 16, 2017. During an interview with Zane Lowe, Future teased the project as a departure from recent material and the return of his Future Hendrix persona as some say. FUTURE is laced with 17 tracks. The follow up to last year's Evol finds the FreeBandz Gang leader tackling production by DJ Esco, TM88, Metro Boomin, Southside, Zaytoven & many others, and has NO features. At the beginning, there is electricity, an indication that this is an artist who has caught his second wind. It only begins to drag near the end, a track or two of too much, but even the more repetitious songs are delivered with a liveliness that male them hard to skip. The body of the project is one of Future's best. Future is best when the doubters are loud, and the album has energy of an artist with something to prove, something to claim. The production team shines the brightest when the credits finally come out. If you like Future, and have been a fam of Future and felt like his last offerings of songs were a bit stale, this is the album for you. More street than pop, more underground than mainstream, more trap music than being trapped trying to achieve mass appeal. I would most defiantly say Future's back, but he truly never left.

Bulls stun Celtics after controversial foul results in winning free throws
The Boston Celtics enter NBA All-Star Weekend as winners of 11 of their last 13 games, but the way Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls ended will leave a sour taste in their mouths. The Bulls beat the Celtics 104-103 at the United Center in controversial fashion. Chicago Bulls player, Jimmy Butler was awarded 2 free throws with less than a second remaining, after his elbow was grazed by Boston Celtic's payer, Marcus Smart. It was a very tough call to make and many people disagreed with it. It was a very exciting game to watch, very back and forward with the score staying extremely close, Boston Celtics had the lead for the 1st three quarters until the Bulls took the win in quarter 4. Celtics player, Isaiah Thomas and Bulls player Jimmy Butler were the top scoring players of the game both scoring a total of 29 points.

Australian Cricket Team will not sledge with Kohli, says David Warner
Australian cricket team vice captain David Warner surprised cricket fans when taking a press conference. The Australian team is going to India for a Test match series starting on the 23rd of February. Warner said the Australian team will be going there and playing cricket with good sportsmanship. He said, Virat Kohli is one of those players, if you niggle at him, he will perform better and better against you. He's at the peak of his career and performing with good consistently. Warner also hinted that the Aussies have some special plans to counter the Indian Spin-Bowling attack. Well, we all know that David Warner has been playing mind games on the cricket field for a long time. He's been recently involved in discussions with opponent team players. Both teams have top-rated players, and we can expect a really good cricket game and a nice performance from both of them. The first match will take place at Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune, India.

"Descension" A Water-based Sculpture
Anish Kapoor, the winner of the 2017 Genesis Prize, will be installing one of his unique and famous sculptures in Brooklyn Bridge Park this next summer. The water-based sculpture is set to make its first appearance in North America on May 3. Versions of this art piece have been shown all over the world including India, Versailles, and European countries. The water-based sculpture "Descension" is a large circle-shaped pool of water that's spiraling into the ground like an whirlpool. Anish Kapoor's meaning for this sculpture is to "Create an active object that resonates with changes in our understanding and experience of the world.” This is a very creative and eye-catching art piece that will attract many people.

When Great Art Makes You LOL
Can art be funny? Can art be humorous? Can art make you LOL (laugh out loud)? Well of course it can. "Because here’s the thing about comedy: it relies on the subverting of expectations, which means that it cannot exist without them. Jokes need to be clear and comprehensible, but ones that are too easily understood — where the punchline can be seen coming from a mile away — are often the least funny jokes of all. " A few examples of art that can make you laugh are comedians. Being a comedian is a form of art. Another form of art that can make you laugh is classical art. Paintings, drawings, and all the other styles of classical art can make you laugh through what the image represents. Maybe it's a joke or maybe it's a insult or roast. Lastly, another form of art that can make you laugh are memes. Memes are the most common way that art makes you laugh. As it is the most common art for made for laughing found in current-modern society.

League of Legends and Cheats
This week @aske123 brought us a flawless League of Legends hacked client! This hacked client is extremely simple to use as always. But always be cautious while using you don't wanna get banned. Scammer Grave

This week we are featuring the Scammer Grave section, which is currently moderated by [MPGH]DarkLordXYZ, [MPGH]Hova, and [MPGH]Psychotic.
Once again we'll be visiting this section for this edition's Section of the Week. During the course of this fortnight, MPGH had seen countless shady trades occurring. With a need to stop these shady trades, a new section has arisen from the graciousness of the MPGH owner and judge, [MPGH]Dave84311.
The newly added section is called the Private Scam Tips section which, like the Private Reports section, has a setting whereby your created threads are only visible by you and MPGH staff members. This means you can report any shady services, or ones that need additional verification.

Man vows to eat Jason Segel's photo until he returns the favor!
Two days ago, a Canadian named Noah Maloney decided to do something ridiculous. He is absolutely obsessed with Jason Segel (most known for his character Marshall in "How I met your Mother") and will stop at nothing to get Jason's attention. You know an obsession is unhealthy when you start eating photographs of a person in order to get them to respond. Noah Maloney goes on Youtube by the name "Dog-shit", so seeing a video like this pop up and go viral wasn't surprising. The video is just Noah eating Jason Segel's photo piece by piece with no music and it's a painfully boring video to watch. He does end his videos by saying "Hi Jason" and so far has eaten 2 photographs as per his vow. Although Jason Segel hasn't responded to Noah so far, I'm pretty sure he is aware of his impecible stalker and is choosing to not say anything.

Many people have expressed their concern over how unhealthy this is but some sources have said that he's eating rice paper and edible ink, so hopefully he doesn't get rushed into the hospital over this debacle. Let's see how far he gets before he either quits (voluntarily or not) or before he gets a response from Jason telling him this is not okay.
