Thailand PS3 games in new zealand??

hey guys my mum is going to thailand soon and i want her to buy me MW2 over there coz it will b cheap my ps3 takes the PAL version games so will the thai game version affect anything. i read some were that thai games are region free, wot does that meen and will they work in new zealand????

idk...i know u have to reset the region code on a dvd player :/ idk about a ps3 tho

I'm not sure about Thailand. Try and find some image or something or a ps3 game from Thailand and see if it says PAL, should be written in English (just the letters). I'm pretty sure the ps3 is region free.

Buying games from other contrys is not a problem.(what i've read me to)
DVD will not work.

umm why not just get an english version on ebay for nearly the same price

ebay is an US site and and if i wuld get something over there it wuld cost more

so $50 (US) is $70 (NZ)
